SUMMARY:
Replaced the existing control system on a ceramic tube cutting machine with a
new system consisting of two single axis servo controllers for position and
machine control.

SUMMARY:
Developed a PC-based Microsoft VisualBasic control interface for a 3-axis

completely automated 3-axis piston ring profiling machine

SUMMARY:
Replaced the existing control system on a piston ring profiling machine with a
new system consisting of a 3-axis servo system for tool die position control, a
programmable logic controller (PLC) for ring loading control and an operator
interface terminal (OIT) for setup and parameter storage.

SUMMARY:
Replaced the existing control system on a piston ring cutting machine with a new
system consisting of a 3-axis servo system for tool die position control, a

Installation
of a Flying shear control system for a
sheeting operation

SUMMARY:
Installed a brushless DC drive for infeed roll, an AC servo drive for knife roll
and a pneumatic brake tensioning system to allow a flying shear to sheet paper
to various lengths while matching line speed through the cut.

Installation
of a digital rotary shear control system for a
paperboard manufacturer

SUMMARY:
Installed closed-loop vector drives, a programmable logic controller (PLC) and
operator interface terminal (OIT) to perform ratio control on a rotary shear for
configurable and repeatable sheet length control.

Motion
control system retrofit on a 5-axis taping machine

SUMMARY:
Retrofitted a taping machine with a 5-axis servo controller. The servo system
controls the automatic application of decorative packaging tape to bundles of
product boxes.
