Kruse Controls was founded in 1991 with the idea that well designed and well documented industrial control systems should be available to industry from system integrators. The founder, Ray Kruse, began the business working from home, evenings and weekends, to prove that the concept was viable. He developed a customer base and began expanding the business through 1992 when Kruse Controls was incorporated and Ray began working as a consultant full time.

Over the next few years, two partners (Jay Wise and Mike Sassano) and a number of skilled designers were added to the staff. Thanks in large part to their efforts and accomplishments, Kruse Controls, Inc. has become a well recognized and well respected provider of industrial automation systems and information technology systems. Most recently, a new division was created called Datability (see www.datability.biz), whose sole purpose is to focus on information technology and MES solutions.

We believe that while we must maintain expertise in our current markets, we cannot sit back, satisfied, reflecting on our past accomplishments. If we are not expanding our horizons, we will not be challenged and we will eventually stagnate in the current market. And so as we examine our strengths, our weaknesses, and analyze our market, we look boldly into the future, seeking the next challenge and opportunity.
